New York Times bestseller guest speaker will reschedule lecture later this spring

College of Liberal Arts Forum for Excellence speaker and New York Times best-selling author Naomi Klein to reschedule lecture.

College of Liberal Arts Forum for Excellence speaker and New York Times best-selling author Naomi Klein to reschedule lecture.

Due to health reasons, Naomi Klein regretfully has to cancel her speaking engagement scheduled for the evening of Feb. 11. There are no substitute speakers. The event will be rescheduled for another date later this spring.

TO BE RESCHEDULED:

Award-winning journalist, syndicated columnist and author of the New York Times and No. 1 international bestseller, The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism, Naomi Klein will reschedule her lecture at the University of Nevada, Reno to discuss the connection between global warming and capitalism.

In her book, This Changes Everything, Klein argues that the climate debate is clouded in myths that detract from what she views as the real problem - capitalism.
