Position will help University with Electronic Information Technology Plan development and implementation

Dr. Reginald Stewart has been named director of Assistive Technology in the division of Student Services, the University announced this week. In his new position, Dr. Stewart will coordinate the Electronic Information Technology Plan development and implementation, covering a broad spectrum of electronic technology accessibility across the campus.

Stewart had previously served as the University's chief diversity officer.

President Marc Johnson said that the institution continues to be fully committed to diversity issues on campus, and that the work of the numerous diversity committees will continue throughout the coming academic year. Diversity questions should be forwarded to the acting chief diversity officer, Patricia Richard. Patricia is chief of staff and assistant vice president for constituent relations in the Office of the President.
