Flu Shot Clinics are being offered through Walgreens to University of Nevada, Reno faculty and staff colleagues, and their dependents. The clinics are walk-in, and are part of the wellness program and are covered 100 percent on the PEBP Health Insurance, according to Human Resources.

Those interested in getting a free flu shot can do so on campus on the following dates:

Oct. 7: 9 a.m.-noon, Joe Crowley Student Union, Room 317;

Oct. 14: 9 a.m.-noon, Joe Crowley Student Union, Room 317;

Oct. 21: 9 a.m.-noon, Joe Crowley Student Union, Room 317;

Oct. 28: 9 a.m.-noon, Joe Crowley Student Union, Room 317;

Nov. 4: 9 a.m.-noon, Joe Crowley Student Union, Room 317.

For those getting a flu shot, be sure to bring your PEBP State of Nevada health insurance card (for PPO or HMO) with you.

Whether you are enrolled in the Consumer Driven Health Plan (CDHP), Hometown Health Plan (HHP) or Health Plan of Nevada (HPN), your flu shot is covered when obtained from a participating provider.

For any questions regarding the flu shot clinics, contact Lisa Taylor, Benefits Specialist, BCN Human Resources, 775-784-6163 or lisataylor@unr.edu

Note: If you do not reside in an area where a flu shot clinic is sponsored by PEBP, you can obtain your flu shot from your primary care provider or a contracted (participating) pharmacy with your health plan.
