First 'Campus Conversations' set for Sept. 21

Fall semester to feature three 'Conversations'; first to focus on online education

The first "Campus Conversations" event of the fall semester, sponsored by the Faculty Senate, will be held on Monday, Sept. 21, from 4-5 p.m. in the Great Room of the Joe Crowley Student Union.

Campus Conversations, which keeps faculty, staff and students informed of current events affecting the University, features President Marc Johnson, Executive Vice President and Provost Kevin Carman and Faculty Senate Chair David Sanders. The Sept. 21 event will have the topic of "Direction of Online Education."

Other Campus Conversations scheduled for this fall include: Wednesday, Oct. 21, "Impact of Enrollment Growth; Monday, Nov. 30, "Junior Faculty Retention and Mentoring." These events will also run from 4-5 p.m., and will be held in the Great Room of the Joe Crowley Student Union.
