Through a national housing bust, a down economy, high unemployment and reductions in state support, growth at the University of Nevada campus should have stagnated. Still, enrollment continued to rise. With the help of philanthropy, the University succeeded in adding more than one-million square-feet of new facilities since 2003, providing Nevada students with state-of-the-art facilities, infrastructure and services.
