Meghan Ezekiel brings positive, highly capable approach to Scheduling Services

Meghan Ezekiel, an administrative assistant in Scheduling Services, was named November's Staff Employees Council Employee of the Month.

Ezekiel, who joined the Scheduling Office about a year ago from Parking Services, was "exactly what we needed to help get our office back on track," wrote nominator Kimberly Boehner. "She came in with a can-do positive attitude that has radiated throughout the rest of our office, making it a joy to come to work each day."

Ezekiel "is unbelievably competent and mature ... both in her computing skills and also in her ability to communicate complex policies in a clear, concise, yet friendly manner," Boehner wrote. "(She) has proven to be an amazing communicator; an important skill when coordinating events on campus."

Boehner continued, "Meghan makes it a point to answer the phone on the very first ring and always with a cheerful, helpful voice. She's extremely fast and accurate with almost any task that is presented to her, and often finds and corrects mistakes without even being asked to do so."

An added bonus, Boehner said, is "her vast knowledge of campus parking policies" which "has proven to be an immeasurable asset when coordinating events. Meghan also serves as an event liaison for outside groups using campus space, and has settled into this role seamlessly. Many customers have expressed their appreciation for the exemplary work Meghan has done on their events."

In sum, Boehner wrote, "It's not often you seen an employee go beyond what is expected of them each and every day, yet Meghan does this with a smile on her face. It's infectious in a great way and we can't express how grateful we are for her efforts."
