Local high schoolers learn multimedia at Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center

June 29, 2012

The second annual Smallwood Foundation Multimedia Boot Camp recently capped its June 11-21 session at the University of Nevada, Reno. The camp brought eight local high school students to campus. Over two weeks, the students received rigorous instruction and hands-on experience in a wide range of media and research activities at the University's award-winning Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center, one of the most technologically advanced libraries in the country.
