Media invited to attend University of Nevada School of Medicine hooding ceremony on May 13
Commencement to be held at 1 p.m. at Lawlor Events Center

Media representatives are invited to attend the University of Nevada School of Medicine's commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2011 at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 13 at the University of Nevada, Reno's Lawlor Events Center main arena. The 55 graduating medical students will celebrate completion of their undergraduate medical education by receiving their academic hoods and reciting the Hippocratic Oath, which reaffirms their commitment to the medical profession.
In addition to celebrating the graduation of the Class of 2011, the School of Medicine will honor several faculty and community members who have supported the philosophy and goals of the medical school and have made significant contributions to the health care field in Nevada.
