University of Nevada School of Medicine to hold 14th Annual White Coat Ceremony on August 13

Media invited to attend ceremony affirming incoming Class of 2014
WHAT: University of Nevada School of Medicine's 14th Annual White Coat Ceremony
WHEN: Friday, August 13 at 5 p.m.
WHERE: Joe Crowley Student Union, 4th Floor Ballroom at the University of Nevada, Reno
WHO: 62 new incoming members of the medical school's Class of 2014 will participate in the cloaking ceremony which symbolically welcomes them into the healthcare profession and helps establish a psychological contract for the practice of medicine. The ceremony concludes the students' orientation week and is part of the School of Medicine's Family Day celebration.
