Filing for ASUN elections open until Jan. 29

University of Nevada, Reno students who wish to file for the upcoming Associated Students of the University of Nevada (ASUN) elections have until 5 p.m. on Jan. 29 to do so, ASUN announced this week.

Student government positions that are open for filing include ASUN president, ASUN vice president, and several seats in the ASUN Senate. Positions in the Senate include Liberal Arts (eight seats), Science (two seats), Engineering (two seats), Business (three seats), Journalism (one seat), Agriculture and Biotechnology (one seat) and Health Science (three seats).

Election packets are available at the ASUN information desk on the third floor of the Joe Crowley Student Union and online at the ASUN website.

The Primary Election will be held March 3-4, with the General Election slated for March 10-11.
