On Friday, March 27, Meggin McIntosh will give a workshop on gaining control of academic life, titled “Help! I’m Over the Top.” The event takes place in room 2003 of the University’s William Raggio Building from 12:30-4:30 p.m.
Directed towards overwhelmed and overcommitted faculty, the topics of the lecture include email, schedules, work spaces, interruptions, managing teaching loads and more. The main focus will be on how to invest in academic and personal life. Refreshments will be provided.
McIntosh was a professor in the University of Nevada, Reno’s College of Education for 10 years and was the founding director of the Excellence in Teaching Program.
