“Taste of the Joe,” free food tasting and celebration

Community members are invited to “Taste of the Joe,” a free food tasting and celebration at the University’s Joe Crowley Student Union on Saturday, Sept.19, starting at 7 p.m.

“We are happy to offer such a variety of quality foods at our student union here at the University of Nevada, Reno,” said Chuck Price, the union’s director. “We think our food vendors are a great match for our students as well as the community. We would like to invite everyone to join us in sampling all of these top-notch food and beverage choices.”

Other free activities include entertainment by Woody the Clown, Ariel the Fortune Teller, Bob the Caricature Artist, an old-time photo booth with props and costumes, a free drawing for Nevada Basketball season tickets and a live radio broadcast with 93.7 Bob FM.
