Although it was recently announced that The New York Times campus-wide readership program will no longer be available to students as a free resource to students at the University of Nevada, Reno, representatives of The Times are working to provide the newspaper to the campus.
The Times is currently offering a discounted individual subscription program at the publication’s education rate, and will provide off-campus home delivery via the Reno Gazette-Journal.
The education rate offered is $2.25 per week (Monday through Friday). Faculty who require subscriptions to The New York Times as part of their course will be eligible to receive a complimentary copy of The Times Monday through Friday if 10 more students in their class subscribe.
For faculty to start a subscription, visit The New York Times Faculty Subscription or call 1-888-NYT-COLL (1-888-698-2655).
For students to start a subscription, visit The New York Times Student Subscription or call 1-888-NYT-COLL (1-888-698-2655).
