School of Medicine offers free children's immunization clinic

The University of Nevada School of Medicine’s Student Outreach Clinic is offering a free children’s immunization clinic on Saturday, Aug. 16 from 8 a.m. to noon.

The August 16 clinic will have a limited number of free immunizations for children who will be seen on a first come, first served basis.

Student Outreach Clinics are a free service providing much needed care for Washoe County’s medically underserved population. Under the direct supervision of licensed faculty physicians, the clinic is directed by medical students from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. No insurance or appointment is necessary. Physicals for the Head Start program are also available. Please bring your child’s immunization records.

All clinics are held at University Health System’s Family Medicine Center, located on the University of Nevada, Reno campus just north of Mackay Stadium off of North Virginia Street and 17th Street.
