Abramow joins Obstetrics and Gynecology department

Stanley M. Abramow, M.D., Fellow, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, joins the University of Nevada School of Medicine as an associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Las Vegas.

Abramow brings more than four decades of experience in women’s healthcare to University Health System, the clinical practice of the School of Medicine, where he will see patients and instruct medical residents.

“I will be teaching obstetrical techniques such as forceps and breech deliveries,” Abramow said.

Prior to joining the School of Medicine, he was in private practice in Las Vegas coming from Long Beach, Calif. where he was chairman or chief of staff at several hospitals. He earned his medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical Center at Syracuse before completing his residency at Millard-Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo, N.Y.
