Washington wins April Classified Employee of the Month award

Ginger Washington, an administrative assistant in the Orvis School of Nursing, is the April winner of the Classified Employee of the Month award. The award is given by the Staff Employees' Council.
Washington's supervisors said this about her: "Ginger goes far beyond her technical and task duties and contributes significantly to the Orvis Nursing Clinic's goal of providing care in a healing environment.
"She has handled the increase in patients, over 5,000 in the last two years, with enthusiasm and grace. The increase in patients improves the self-supporting budget and her suggestions toward more efficiency strengthen the success of the clinic."
