Athletics holds naming contest for mascot sibling

The Nevada Wolf Pack has a new addition to its family and asks fans to help name the younger brother of the Alphie, the Wolf Pack's current mascot.
 
Alphie's younger brother is a member of the Pup Club and will be ready to cheer for the Wolf Pack alongside Alphie at all of its home games this fall.
 
Between now and July 31, fans can email their suggestions for the new mascot's name along with their name, address and phone number to askalphie@unr.edu. Fans can also mail their suggestions to the University of Nevada Marketing and Promotions Office, Legacy Hall/232, Reno, NV 89557. Submissions should be postmarked before the July 31 deadline.
 
Alphie's younger brother will be given the name receiving the most fan entries.
 
Fans who send in the most popular name will be entered in a drawing for a Pack Pass, which includes four tickets to one football game, one basketball game and one baseball game as well as admittance for four to all women's basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball games.
