The University of Nevada had 67 student-athletes named to the 2007 Western Athletic Conference All-Academic Team for spring sports and freshmen/transfers, the conference announced July 11. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed least one academic year, have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests. Spring sports include men's and women's outdoor track and field, men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis, softball and baseball. Including the 67 spring sport and freshmen/transfer honorees, the University of Nevada saw 99 of its student-athletes earn WAC All-Academic honors for the 2006-07 season. In addition, 57 student-athletes earned their degrees during the 2006-07 academic year, and the university received no penalties in the NCAA's Academic Progress Rate for the second consecutive year. Last year, the Wolf Pack had 88 student-athletes on the WAC's All-Academic teams. The following is a list of Nevada's spring sport and freshman/transfer all-academic honorees:
