Welcome to the Nevada Center for Ethics & Health Policy
The financial crisis has been challenging for all. The Nevada Center for Ethics & Health Policy is no exception. As of June 30, 2010 our office have closed as a result of the University's budget cuts. Our website will continue to provide resources such as you've always found: advance directives in English and Spanish, information on the Nevada SMOST project and important announcements and articles related to health care ethics and policy. Our phones will continued to be monitored and calls returned in a timely manner. This will all be done by our Center's staff, now working as volunteers to assure the ethical practice of health care in Nevada.
We regret any inconvenience our office closure may cause, but encourage you to use the resources on this website, our NVLivingWill.com site for completing advance directives online and contact our volunteers if you've any ethical issues or questions.
