If you have logged into MyNEVADA at least once before then you do not need to follow these steps. New applicants and former students who have never logged into MyNEVADA will need to go through this process in order to create a MyNEVADA user account.
Navigate to MyNEVADA.
Click on [ACTIVATE ACCOUNT]
Fill out the Required Information section. If you know your NSHE ID please also add that, as it will help find you within the system. Lastly, you will need to select a verification method. If you do not have a Social Security Number, Application Number, or do not know either of those you will need to call (775) 784-MYNV to ask for a Temporary Access Key to be generated for you.
Applicants who have submitted a completed application: to find your NSHE ID and application number, please refer to the email confirmation or letter you received in the mail 2-3 days after submitting your application.
If the system finds your record, you will then be asked to set up a password, email address, and forgotten password help question to complete the process.
If you already have a user profile, or after you successfully create one you will see the following screen. Your NSHE ID is the same number as your User ID - this is the number you will use to log into MyNEVADA. If you don't remember your password you can use the Forgot My Password functionality.

If you have no current affiliation with the University of Nevada (Applicant, Student, Former Student, Instructor, Advisor, or Employee) you will not be allowed to create a User Profile. Please contact mynevada@unr.edu or call (775) 784-MYNV for more information or assistance.
