Undergraduate Minor Programs in MSE

There is no need to fill out any special forms to sign up for an undergraduate minor. Students who complete the program requirements must list the minor on the application for graduation. The application must be approved by the student's advisor and the appropriate college dean before it is filed in admissions and records. The student's minor is indicated on his/her official records when all graduation requirements are satisfied.

This program is open to all students in an ABET-accredited engineering major except students in the Extractive Metallurgy option of the B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering program. Courses may be used to satisfy the major and minor requirements simultaneously. A total of 19 units are required for completion of the minor.
