Gain real world exposure and first-hand experience through various PAID internship opportunities. Be prepared to apply and be interviewed for these positions by utilizing services in place to help students transition from student to professional. Great opportunities for summer paid internships are available for mining and metallurgical engineering students. Although the students must apply and interview for these positions themselves, information about University job/career/internship fairs, industry contacts, and informational sessions and interviews with specific employers is available through the Arentz Student Center or through faculty in the department.
