Prediction and Monitoring Technologies

After reclamation efforts have been successfully completed, it is always important to keep track of the success of a project in eliminating acid formation and restoration of the land to mimic pre-mining conditions to post-mining conditions. Monitoring helps to identify where acid mine drainage is formed and also helps in identifying the onset of acid mine drainage formation.

The various technologies that can be applied to prediction and monitoring are

Hydrologic

Geochemical

Vegetative Establishment

Water Quality

Soil Health

Air Quality

Acid Drainage       Water Source Control And Treatment        Waste Source Control and Treatment        Cyanide Treatment       Waste Disposal        Physical Stability        Topographic Reconstruction        Revegetation        Air       Prediction and Monitoring
