This Technology Database is still under development by the Mining Life-Cycle Center (MLC) of the Mackay School of Earth Sciences and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. This draft is released prior to completing its technical editing. It is done to allow open review of the web site layout as well as the technical information. A workshop will be held on April 1 and 2, 2004 at the University of Nevada, Reno for members of the Acid Drainage Technology Initiative – Metal Mining Sector (ADTI-MMS) and others to review this database. It is expected that an updated version of the database will be available by June 2004.The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is supporting the development of this technology database through their Remediation of Abandoned Mine Sites (RAMS) project.
