Study mining engineering at the
University of Nevada, Reno at a reduced out-of-state
cost!
Through the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE), a
program coordinated by the Western Interstate Commission for
Higher Education (WICHE), students in California may enroll
in the University of Nevada, Reno Mining Engineering
bachelor's degree program at a reduced tuition level: 150%
of the institution's regular resident tuition. Through WUE,
California residents may study mining engineering at the
University of Nevada's Mackay School of Mines at a fraction
of the cost of out-of-state tuition.

FOCUS
- There are more (very well paid) jobs than there are
graduates to fill them: in quarries, other industrial
mineral mines, surface & underground construction,
environmental consulting, as well as careers in finance
management & government agencies
