We are currently accepting applications for scholars for fall 2015. The priority will be given to those applications received on or before September 18th, 2015. Applications received after this date will be considered as space allows, or for admission to the program in future semesters. Completed applications require steps 1-3 below to be complete. Applicants accepted in fall 2015 will be selected to participate in the spring/summer 2016 research cohort. At this time, we are only accepting applications for students who plan to graduate in fall 2016 or later.
Submit the McNair Scholars Program on-line application. Please review the following Eligibility Requirements put forth by the U.S. Department of Education, before proceeding with your application. There is also a time commitment involved with program services. Please review the following program requirements prior to proceeding. After your online application has been reviewed, you will be contacted by the McNair Scholars Program and asked to proceed to step two.
- Complete the Expanded Statement of Purpose Essay
- Produce Two Faculty Evaluation Forms
- Turn in unofficial college transcripts from EACH school you have attended
All applications will be reviewed by a faculty committee and students will be invited for an interview.
