The Mathematics Center's purpose is to help students at UNR improve their mathematical skills and increase their appreciation of the utility of mathematics and statistics.
The Center conducts math course placement testing also offers walk-in tutoring in mathematics with special emphasis on the core curriculum courses.
We have worked with professors from numerous courses to promote a greater appreciation of the uses of mathematics and statistics in diverse disciplines.
