Placement Testing Outside Nevada
Taking Accuplacer Outside Nevada
If you do not have the opportunity to take Accuplacer at any of the NSHE institutions, you can take it at a local college or univerity outside Nevada.
In order for Admissions and Records to process Accuplacer test scores they must follow these policies:
1. Admission and Records will only accept the official "Score Report" print out from Accuplacer.
2. The "Score Report" must be faxed directly from the testing center at the local instution and not from the student, parent, high school teacher, etc.
3. The "Score Report" must contain the following:
a. The student's first and last name, and the date of birth.
b. The raw scores for the Accuplacer tests.
c. The date the student took the test.

In these cases students will fax their scores directly to Admissions and Records and not the Math Center. (775) 784-4283
