Health Education and Services
Feeling healthy starts with a good diagnosis. Sometimes it's hard to separate emotional strain from a physical condition. The professional staff at Counseling Services and the Student Health Center can help you narrow down your symptoms and recommend a plan of action. The licensed clinicians and trainees at Counseling Services work with clients presenting a large range of concerns including eating disorders. The focus is primarily on short-term counseling (3-6 sessions), with an emphasis on improving daily functioning and academic success. In addition, to treating medical issues, Student Health Center provides health education, registered dieticians and N-ergy program, a free supervised 4-week nutrition and activity program.
