Teaching Mathematics in Grades K-8

Course Description:
Mathematical and psychological bases for scope, sequence and appropriate instructional strategies in elementary school mathematics.

Improvements to the Course:
Lynda learned how to use PowerPoint by transferring lecture notes to PowerPoint presentations. She also learned how to create and maintain a class bulletin board for the purpose of continuing class discussion outside of class. Finally, Lynda used a self-learning instruction manual to learn how to use Logo so that she could impart this knowledge to her students for the purpose of teaching geometry.
