Course Description:
The development and future of public education in the United States. Critical examination of the issues facing today's schools. (General capstone course.)

Improvements to the Course:
Goals for the course include the following:
--To learn website development skills to enable the instructor to build and maintain a course website. This skill would allow the instructor to post course syllabus, and create links to selected article on the website.

--To learn advanced PowerPoint applications. This skill wuld allow the instructor to develop improved lectures and provide a method of posting lecture notes on the above website.

--To explore the use of WebCT component for the course. This would provide one-on-one instruction and related instructions materials for selected topics.
