Secondary Science Teaching

Course Description:
Content and methods in teaching secondary science with emphasis on scientific literacy, demonstration, investigation, computer application, and other educational technology.

Improvements to the Course:
Mike bought a digital camera with his Project Learning Links funding. He used the camera to take pictures of students in class and to convey abstract ideas through concrete activities. Mike also purchased microcomputer based lab software for use in his class to address the new national and State of Nevada science standards.
