INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN TEACHING

Course Description:
Uses of microcomputers in operations, word processing and LOGO applicable to classroom for teachers to operate and utilize microcomputers in education.

Improvements to the Course:
Since CEP 210 is a technology course required for all education majors it is my goal to incorporate various means of digital media into the course. This will include digital audio, video, still photography and scanning technolgoies. Also I would like to include the use of a digital whiteboard application through the UNR WebCT course software application.

Fellowship Activities: Potential activities will include:

1) Using digital scanning hardware/software to capture images and place into documents and/or transmit over the Internet.
