Improvements
to the Course:
CI
497 is one of two courses I teach that is required of career
and technical education teachers and preservice teachers
in Nevada. Often there are teachers out in the rural areas
of the state that need the course. Presently, I have the
course set up so they can register for the class and do it
on an individualized basis. However, there is not interaction
among those individuals and the students taking the class
on campus. I would like to get those students more involved
in the class. Therefore, my goalsfor
integrating technology into this course are:
1.
Use Web CT to enhance the course with the use of a bulletin
board, chat rooms, and posting documentsfor
access by students.
2.
Post my power point presentations on the web for easy
access by students.
