The goal of Project Learning Links is to infuse teaching and learning technology into all components of the teacher preparation programs at the University of Nevada, Reno. This is done through four change components.

Change Component: APPLYING

This component emphasizes field based and on-line experiences between future teachers and students in Nevada’s schools. These experiences give prospective teachers practice in using technology effectively with children. One type of experience occurs in practicum courses where future teachers participate in technology rich classrooms in local schools. A second type of experience includes on-line interactions with children from rural/remote areas using the Nevada Bell Student-to-Student Network.
