June 18-27, 2015 (Tickets on sale for 2015 TBD)
Take out your cowboy boots and come to the Reno Rodeo. Meet real life cowboys and enjoy the exciting events the Reno Rodeo brings to town every year.
Witness the Rodeo Pageant where horse riding is key and rodeo knowledge is a given. If it is the action packed type events you are looking for, view the bull riders get thrown around and the rodeo riders glide across the dirt on stunning steeds. The cows will be there too with a kick off cattle drive complete with professional ropers.
When you are not in the middle of the action feel free to explore the available activities. Kids will be entertained with the carnival and the impressive kid's rodeo. Dog lover? You will not want to miss the cowdog competition and the wiener dog races. If the hot dogs get your mouth watering visit the food booths. If it is morning food you crave, show up for the popular pancake breakfast.
Theme nights are always a highlight of the Rodeo. Wear pink to support breast cancer awareness or sport the red white and blue to show how much you love America. Anyway you want it, just look at the extravaganza that is the Reno Rodeo.
