The Latino Research Center is proud to invite you to participate as a sponsor in our celebrations of El Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).
Each year the Latino Research Center invites the whole community to celebrate with traditional food, drink, music, and activities for kids and adults, including masks and sugar skull decorations. We also have an area for an exhibition of altars dedicated to honoring the dearly departed.
We believe events like Dia de los Muertos educates the community about Latino culture, encourages diversity and fosters a sense of community among people from different backgrounds. Hispanic population reaches a 23% in Washoe County and 27% in the State of Nevada, which explains the enormous increase in attendees that this event has been experiencing in the past 3 years. Approximately 350 people attended our event last year alone and we expect that number to increase.
Our program is a beautiful souvenir of the event which is given for free to all of our attendees and provides them with the schedule of events, cultural information, and fun activities for the children.
**The deadline for ad placement is Thursday, October 23**.
