What is School to Careers? -- How can you get involved?

  EMPLOYERS    EDUCATORS   PARENTS    STUDENTS

Employers:
Washoe County schools, kindergarten through college and university, seek employer input to the career education process encouraged by the School to Careers initiative. Specifically, schools need employers to provide the following opportunities for students and educators: Educator Externships, Job Shadowing, Student Internships, Mock Employment Interviews, Paid Work-Based Learning. Schools also need employers as classroom speakers, field trip hosts, and as business/career expert’s advising curriculum and program development.

Washoe county employers interested in contributing to career education by providing these opportunities may contact the Washoe K-16 School to Careers office at (702) 686-3007.
