and Objectives |

Goal One:
Foster collaboration among leaders in business, education, and the community to
encourage systemic change of our existing educational systems, in order to provide
learning that is relevant for the needs of our global and local economies. |
|
Goal Two:
Support the establishment of higher standards and expectations for rigorous learning, to
ensure that graduates from high school demonstrate mastery of skills, including
technology, needed for entry level positions and/or post secondary education. |
|
Goal Three:
Support the establishment of accountability systems that provide accurate, timely,
public information regarding student achievement at all levels. |
|
Goal Four: Advocate for
superior communication among all stakeholders – parents, students, educators,
business, labor, and community leaders – to ensure support for Washoe K-16 goals and
objectives. |
