Research Interests
I am interested in several research areas under social psychology
and law. My current project is with the Fire Science Academy (FSA).
GSCJS has been hired by the FSA to develop a curriculum on terrorism.
Specifically, the curriculum and presentations focus on five different
areas: the history of terrorism, an analysis on what terrorism actually
is, group dynamics in terrorism, coping with loss, and the psychological
impacts of terrorism. These topics will be integrated into the training
courses that are offered by the FSA. These week long courses offer classroom
and field training, attracting firefighters from across the U.S.
