Application to Graduate Special Status at UNR

If you plan to start courses with “Graduate Special” status, follow the instructions below.

1. You will be required to complete a graduate special application online. To start, you will be required to “Create my account” and establish a password. Follow the link below to create that account.

2. After you have created an account, complete the “Undergraduate Admission & Scholarships New Freshman and Transfer Students, Non-Degree and Graduate Specials.” application at:
   
   https://www.applyweb.com/cgi-bin/app?unr
   
   You can work on your application, save it, make revisions later if you wish, and then submit it electronically. For item number 16 (Select Major) use the pull-down list and choose “Undecided.” For item number 17 (Semester to begin) choose Spring if you wish to start with us in January and Fall if you wish to start in May or September. You must submit that application and payment of application fees ($60 for new students, $40 for UNR alumni) electronically.
   
   
3. Notify the Justice Managemnet Program by e-mail when your graduate special status is confirmed.

Note:All students must comply with UNR's immunization requirements prior to registering for courses.
