Why I teach:

Teaching is one of the most honest forms of communication in which one can participate.

What I’ve learned:

• You get an education--no one gives it to you.

• Learning makes us satisfied, which is not the same thing as happy.

• Learning takes place as episodes of applied reflection. It is not, as people think, an adventure, process or life-long endeavor.
