UNR-WPA: Windows 8

The UNR-WPA signal will be removed on December 28, 2016. It is being replaced by eduroam, a worldwide academic WiFi signal. Please consider switching over at your earliest convenience.
  1. From the Desktop (WinKey + D), double-click on the Wireless Network icon in the system tray at the bottom-right of the screen.Win8 Wifi Desktop Icon
  2. A menu will appear on the right listing all the available wireless networks. Click on UNR-WPA.Win8 Wifi Networks
  3. Click on Connect. If you would like the computer to remember this network, then check Connect automatically.Win8 Conect to UNRWPA
  4. Enter in your NetID username and password and then click on OK.Win8 Wifi Credentials
  5. The computer will then attempt to connect to the wireless network.

  6. A warning will appear to verify that you wish to connect to this network. Click on Connect.Win8 Wifi Verify Server
  7. Your computer will now connect to the wireless network. You may initially receive a "limited" connection:
