As a member of the University of Nevada, Reno you are entitled to discounted and free software that may otherwise cost a significant amount of money.
Adobe Reader is a free piece of software used for viewing PDFs. It can be downloaded, free of charge, from Adobe's Website.
Software from the Adobe Creative Suite is available at a discount from the Nevada Wolf Shop. The titles include:
- Acrobat - for creating PDFs
The current Creative Suite version is CS6.5.

Apple OS X is available from the Nevada Wolf Shop at a discount for students and faculty/ staff of the University.
EndNote is available for faculty/ staff and students, at a discount, from the Nevada Wolf Shop.
Filezilla is a free FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client used to access the filesystem of a website. It can be downloaded from the Developer's website.
Active employees may purchase Office Professional Plus 2013 for their personal computer for $9.95 through the Microsoft Home Use Program.

DreamSpark is offered by Microsoft to provide students with software design and development tools at no charge. The University of Nevada, Reno has affiliation with DreamSpark that allows students to easily create an account and download the software.
