Nevada INBRE offers numerous training programs for biomedical students to participate in research throughout the state.
Undergraduates from all NSHE institutions are eligible for the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program – a ten-week research experience in a faculty laboratory where students get the chance to work on their own research project.
Eligible students at College of Southern Nevada, Nevada State College, Great Basin College and Truckee Meadows Community College can apply for programs focused on build college preparedness and career awareness and success.
Medical students and UNSOM residents can apply for two programs that can help develop the skills necessary for clinical and translational research. Programs include a Master of Advanced Studies degree and a Residents Research Opportunities Program.
