Are you eligible to apply?
To be eligible to apply to the Nevada Biomedical Student Pipeline Program, you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent legal resident alien. US citizens must provide either a birth certificiate or a passport; permanent legal residents aliens must provide a green card.
- Have a valid social security number.
- Have completed high school or equivalent by June 16, 2008.
- You must meet at least one of the following requirements:
- You are a first-generation college student or
- You are a member of an under-represented group in science or
- Your annual family income falls below a certain level
Priority will be given to students who:
- Were born after 1977
- Plan to enroll Fall semester 2008 at CSN, TMCC, GBC, or WNC
- Have completed fewer than 12 college credits by June 16, 2008
- Have not completed Biology 190 (at TMCC, WNC, GBC, or UNR) or Biology 196 (at CSN or UNLV)
