Instrumentation
The NVCI Histology Core facility has two state of the art autostainers for immunohistochemistry, The Ventana XT and Richard-Allen Axiom. The Ventana XT also is capable of In-Situ Hybridization Staining. We are in the process of developing FISH (Florescent In-Situ Hybridization) procedures. Our Microm HM 550 is the latest cryostat available from Richard-Allen for Frozen Sections.
