Instrumentation
The analytical flow cytometer is a Beckman Coulter XL/MCL configured to measure two light scatter and four fluorescent parameters. The light source is a 488nm Argon laser and the four fluorescent wavelengths are 525nm, 575nm, 670nm and >740nm. The fluorochromes that can be used include fluorescein, AlexaFluor488, R-Phycoerythrin (PE), PerCP, and PE tandem conjugates such as PE-Cyanine 5 and PE-Cyanine 7.
