Nevada INBRE offers numerous training programs for biomedical students to participate in research throughout the state.
Undergraduates from all NSHE institutions are eligible for the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program - a 10-week research experience in a faculty laboratory where students get the chance to work on their own research project.
Eligible students at College of Southern Nevada, Nevada State College, Great Basin College and Truckee Meadows Community College can apply for programs focused on build college preparedness and career awareness and success.
Medical students and UNSOM residents can apply for two programs who purpose is to develop the skills necessary for clinical and translational research. INBRE will fund a Master of Advanced Studies degree offered through UC Davis for medical students. In addition, residents interested in a more rigorous research project than the one required by their program, can apply for support to participate in the Residents Research Opportunities Program.
