Nevada alumni share the fruits of their unexpected opportunities
In May, the University of Nevada, Reno gathers on the historic University Quadrangle for Commencement. Upon graduation, our students become stewards of the University's proud educational legacy. They will be asked to nurture and nourish the people of their community, their state, and their nation. They will be asked to provide needed inspiration and innovation. They will be expected to be good, but mindful of the special responsibilities that come with their Nevada degree, they will push themselves to become great. They will continue to learn, to engage and change the lives of others for the better.
The Nevada Alumni Association's mission is to foster and cultivate a common bond of pride, affinity and connectivity among alumni, students, prospective students and friends of the University of Nevada, Reno through quality programs, services and events.
The Nevada Alumni Association was incorporated in 1967 to unite the proud alumni of the state of Nevada’s flagship university. Any student completing a fully accredited semester is considered a member of our alumni family. Today, the Association serves more than 50,000 alumni, and countless university friends, by keeping them connected to the University of Nevada through programs, events, services, scholarships, chapters and clubs, and the Nevada Silver & Blue alumni magazine.
